Naruto vs. One Piece: A Look In That Direction – Part 1

I know the title is almost exactly like Kisu’s Naruball Z post.

I know this is very bad.  But, the more I do it, the better I’ll get.  By the way, this is my first Theory Post!

In the future, these will be longer.

Ja everyone!  It’s paintheclown here.  I’ve decided to take a break from Top Ninja for a few days and work on a theory post.  As the title suggests, this is about Naruto and OP (One Piece)  So, I will be matching Naruto Characters to their OP counterparts!  So, here goes nothing!

Naruto vs. Monkey D. Luffy

Luffy is a lot like Naruto in ways.  Naruto, like Luffy, is the main protagonist of their respective series.  They also have huge grins!  They both want to achieve something great (Luffy: King of the Pirates and Naruto: Hokage)  They are both very optamistic.  Another thing they have in common is they both inspire the people around them.  They never give up (Literally!)  And, my last thing is that they are both trying to “Save” there brother.  I say brother for Naruto because he thinks of Sasuke as a brother, and Ace is Luffy’s half-brother.  Naruto is trying to save Sasuke from the darkness and Luffy is trying to save Ace from his execution.

Sasuke vs. Portgas D. Ace

Next is Sasuke and Ace.  Like I said before, Sasuke and Ace are “brothers” to the main character of their respective series.  They are both anti-protagonists.  They also control Fire (Sasuke has Fire Chakra, Ace ate the Flame-Flame Fruit)  They also come from powerful families (Sasuke from the Uchiha Clan, and Ace is from Gol D. Roger’s Family)    They have a similar yet completely different personality.  (Sorry, I don’t have much for these two)

Minato vs. “Red-Haired” Shanks

Minato and Shanks are very similar!  Minato is a role model for Naruto, while Shanks is a role model of Luffy.  Minato is known very well within the Naruto Universe, while Shanks is a Yonkou (Four Emperors) of the Second Half of the Grand Line.  Shanks was the one who made Luffy want to become the King of the Pirates and Minato was the one who made Naruto want to be Hokage.
