Fairy Tail Chapter 234 – Reinforcements

This chapter was great and a bit dissapointing at the same time. I hoped to see more from Gildarts but instead we got to see Fried and Bixlow don’t get me wrong i like those guys also but as Fairy Tails “strongest mage ” everyone wants to see what the extend of that power is.

Ok now for the summary:

Gildarts arrival on the scene instantly gives hope to the others. He tells them to get away and rushes at Bluenote. We get to see some intresting powers from bluenote as well he’s not only able to multiply gravity but also able to make pieces of land float and even flip in mid air.

However Gildars is not surprised by it and crushes the land they then have power clash and the bluenote that took down natsu and the others easily gets overpowered by Gildarts this shows that Natsu still got a long way to go before he can become the strongest. Gildarts explains why he is so angry at first i tought it was because he smacked down his “child” even tough i doubt he is Cana’s father, the true reason he is so angry is because grimore heart walked over the determination to their futures (Cana would quit if she was unable to become s-rank).

Then the scene changes to Fried and bixlow who have just arrived. Poor Rustyrose got no chance against the 2, Bixlow uses his pupeteer magic to take down his summonings easily and Fried uses Yami no Ecriture on himself to enhance his power and blow Rustyrose away.

Then its time for them to act badass and strike fear into Rustyrose’s heart. Finally on the last page we get to see a boy who closely resembles Zeref and Natsu (Natsu’s clothes and fairy tail mark with the face of Zeref) this may explain why zeref is on Tenrou island.
