Naruto Chapter 495 – Hug Your Evil Twin

naruto-retro1Post Author: Bob

Hi everyone, just read this week’s Naruto chapter. The trend continues from last week where we see more of Naruto training himself mentally to defeat his evil self, and again there is no action scenes to spice things up. However I found this week’s chapter a little better than that week’s, partly because it I was expecting more of the same so my expectations weren’t high to begin with, but it also had to do with some of KB’s lines used in this chapter.

Alright, I couldn’t find that much to really dig into this chapter so I’ll spare everyone my long rants and just give my initial impressions. Sappy. I think everyone knows what I’m talking about, right? Naruto is well known for defeating even his most hardened foes with words and the power of friendship, but he defeated his evil self so quickly and with no resistance that it felt kind of superficial. To top it off, the final blow is a hug… really? A hug? I really hope Naruto will not think of using this same tactic on Sasuke, that guy is strictly unhuggable — the very attempt of which will almost certainly end in the loss of one or multiple limbs. There wasn’t really any doubt Naruto will defeat his evil self there with his friendship speech, but I still think it was too fast and too easy of a solution. In my mind, Naruto has been festering this hate within himself since he was born. Being treated like a monster by the entire village leaves scars on a young child, deep scars… so you’d think overcoming that level of hate and anger would take a little more than a chat n’ hug. Well, the positive side of having Naruto defeat his other self so quickly is that we’re moving straight into the next phase of Naruto’s training — going toe to toe with the Kyuubi. Man, just the thought of that gives me goosebumps. I can understand now why Kishi rushed through the last few chapters; we’re finally getting to the cream of the story.

I really don’t have much else to comment on with the rest of this chapter. Yamoto pretty much spelled out word for word my exact thoughts on how I want Naruto and KB’s relationship to turn out: become friends and allies, learn cool powers, but please don’t let Naruto start rapping! The translators have been trying their hardest to give KB’s rhymes some meaning, but it usually just turns out weird. But I expect the original rap in Japanese was just as lame, so nothing gained or lost in the end. Only one of KB’s lines in this chapter actually had me crack up: page 15 of Mangastream’s scanlation. I’m pretty sure Shonen Jump wouldn’t allow something like ‘mothaf–ka’ in their magazine, so it’s really the translators having a little fun here or maybe it was just easier to go gansta than think up of more lame rhymes. Whatever the case, KB’s character is getting more and more interesting in my eyes. I used to think he was just a super powered prick who only cared about entertaining himself, but he’s turned out to be the complete opposite.

Next week I think the real fun will begin as Naruto will have to take on the Nine Tails in order to gain control of it. KB will certainly offer Naruto advice, but I think in the end it will come down to Naruto himself to take down the Kyuubi. From the weird architecture behind the waterfall, my guess is this test will be similar to the first in that it will be a test of will as well as strength. Any further guessing at what will happen next week is pure speculation so I’ll leave it at that and see you guys next time.

  1. evil naruto may make an appearance again. maybe. that was just too… easy.

  2. i cant stop complaining on how the story been going its losing my attraction…
but now it might pick up again and actually be naruto the story about naruto and the story we all love…
also i cant wait till next week naruto vs the fox its going to be epic.

  3. im guessing kisame might pop up sometime during this fight and try to capture KB and naruto. im pretty sure theyre both gonna be exhausted after fighting the 9 tails.
thats assuming KB help naruto during the fight.

  4. oh this is just a guess but what if naruto turns into the 9 tails after beating it and fights kisame??
KB can turn into the 8 tails so im pretty sure naruto will be able to do the same eventually.

  5. i think killer bee knows that kisame is in the sword and is using kisame to test naruto’s control over the nine tails with a fight with kisame. just a thought

  6. @cfho83
I’m wit u on that 1. I have been tryin 2 say that for a while. I believe that KB is smarter than he appears, because there is no reason why he would bring Samehada there and not leave it in the Hidden Cloud if he didn’t suspect something. Then again maybe not…

If Kishi was rushing the story along just to make it to the Naruto v. 9 tails fight it was pretty lame. Don’t get me wrong I’m sure that the fight will b cool and all but there was a lot more story to work with. I guess that it may b for the best that he skipped all of it.

This chapter was good though, because like Bob said: “I knew what to suspect with this weeks chapter”

  7. 4got 1 thing, I liked the title of the review Bob very funny 😀

  8. I like the thought of KBT using Kisame as a final test cool stuff!
I wonder how many chapter will be dedicated to training before the battle?
where is Guy in all this?

  9. After some thought I’d have to beg to differ with the consensus view about this chapter… I think the meat of the chapter (Naruto coming to terms with inner anger/hate) was more profound than we’re giving it credit for. Naruto has experienced a definite paradigm shift, his whole outlook has changed completely now and he’s probably more like his father now than before. The old Naruto, as he states, relied on his festering anger and hate to win his battles as evidenced by the number of times Kyuubi has saved his ass. In fact most of Naruto’s greatest wins were when he wasnt fully conscious of them, he just sort of pointed 9-tails in general direction of what/who he wanted to put the hurting on and pulled trigger and went into berzerker rage.
But now we’ve seen two things happen, we’ve gotten a glimpse of how strong his resolve is as evidenced by how quickly he defeated inner hate. If you look at it from the point of view of here’s a guy who’s been through so much but is able to move past the resulting resentment so quickly once he’s realised what it actually represents is a testament to Naru’s own quality as a future Hokage. He could easily hav held onto the hate (as most people would) or try to deny that it’s there or has been there but instead he confronted it and dealt with it.
And this ties into the second reveal about him deciding that he believes in himself and his own strength i.e. he’s FINALLY seeing what everyone meant when they said he’s the baddest Leaf ninja since his Daddy (im thinking Kakashi and Yamato).
So yeah in summary (to this long as hell comment) i think going forward the different perspective that Naruto has on himself will make for some ultra cool one liners and speeches and just general tone of the manga. Especially when one considers he’ll now be conversing with the Kyuubi who he’ll probably ask about Yellow Flash

  10. @tawuya: Real talk right there! It is going to be interesting to see the developments that occur in this regard. Hopefully, kishi won’t rush this like he has been doing in the recent past. I am hoping that that this lasts at least 10chapters. But I have a sneaky feeling that next chapter won’t exclusively focus on Naruto.

  11. @Sonelle, why WOULDNT he (Killerbee) bring Samehada everywhere he goes? It’s just the most powerful sword of the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist, can absorb ur opponents chakra, heal ur wounds, give you chakra, and shred ur opponents apart. Nothing special right? 😉

  12. i dont think we will see much of a fight with the kyubi next week. i think its going to start off with naruto talking to the kyubi the way he always does and at the end the battle will start, however that will be the end of the chapter. i also expect a page or 2 to things going on in konoha. it wasnt that long ago that the place was more or less leveled to the ground. im suprised we havent seen anything of the rebuilding efforts, and im also suprised yamamoto isnt there with his wood element technique.

  13. I have to agree with Jman a little where there story, for me, is getting so uninteresting.

If Kishi is indeed ‘rushing’ something, like how he rushed Sasuke to uber strength mode, then I most likely won’t be pleased with what’s going to be taking place the next chapters.

The whole hug your evil twin … the concept (not bagging the title, I like it) could have been shown much better than him defeating the hate by ‘hugging’ it. I don’t know but to me it’s such a child-like representation of overcoming hate. Clearly as we’ve seen with Sasuke, hate is much more complicated that that and is rooted from a multitude of different things, that the ‘hug’ resolution seems just like another one of Kishi’s rushed story advancements.

I guess it’s fair enough since people would rather see that actual ninja war and not another ‘inner self’ fight, but this time it seems the resolution for this one was sloppy.

It’s kind of similar how Sasuke seemed to have gained strength so abnormally fast, it also seems Naruto gained maturity and peace abnormally fast considering he had even shorter time to develop those traits because Sasuke had the full 3 years, but as we saw Naruto again, he still hadn’t changed that much in terms of that aspect of his personality. The turn around seems too fast for me to really believe it or really appreciate it. Anyway that’s just my impression so far.
I guess I have to remember this is just a story.

  14. I think everyone is missing the point of the hug…

it is a metaphor! Naruto didn’t literally hug his evil self, he accepted it as a part of him and in his mind that acceptance was realized as a hug. It’s similar to when Naruto’s belly was bleeding during the 8-tails transformation, his belly wasn’t really bleeding, but it was symbolic because Naruto’s self was being destroyed as the Kyuubi took over.

I think Naruto has spent his whole life denying that hateful feeling he has inside, but the recent clash with Sasuke made him realize how close he came to being consumed by it. Then KB’s story helped Naruto realize that it isn’t worth holding onto… and even though Naruto tells that to everyone else, he didn’t believe that for himself just now.

So I don’t think this is as instantaneous a change as it may seem. You could say that Naruto hit rock bottom during the Pain fight, only to be rescued by Minato. I think all of Naruto’s experiences since then have led up to the moment at the Falls of Truth. Without all of them, I don’t think he would have succeeded.

  15. Also… as much as Yamato would have helped with the rebuilding of Konoha, he is more valuable with Naruto as protection and to help suppress the Kyuubi chakra.

I still don’t get why Gai is there though (ok I know it is to set up the Kisame fight)… or maybe it is more like I don’t get why Kakashi didn’t go. Is it because Kakashi is next in line right now for Hokage?!?

  16. i dont wanna hug my evil twin, he’s always such a jerk! always trying to blow up the planet then blame me on it. and it’s not like he had a bad life either, he’s just an attention whore. . .

  17. hold on, scratch all that, he offered to let me use his 100 story tall robot this afternoon. okay, i just hugged him.

  18. on the contrary bob. KB’s character was understandable from the start. sorry but i have to disagree.

it was very evident that his character was VERY different from the rest of the hosts from the first world he said to sasuke; “that’s Mr. 8 tails for u”.

instead of losing his head like the rests of the hosts when being treated like an “object” who must be “retrieved”, he was pretty calm, and kept his cool. his personality was open like a book, and easy to understand, at least for me.

i also now see why kishi rushed up the thing about fighting his evil double. but still, i support what u said about how ichigo’s evil hollow soul was handled better in bleach. regardless of “how” the double was defeated either by a bankai or a hug, instead of just withering with water, ichigo’s double wasn’t as easy going, and wasn’t truly defeated by speach; he said: “you better stay strong, or else i’ll come back and take over”… which i think was more realistic.

  19. @Tawuya

i think most aren’t saying that this part of the story isn’t important or isn’t significant. we’re just complaining about how it should have been handled better. this IS a role shift in his personality after all.

kishi HAS done a better job in the past, a good example would be the battle against nagato.

  20. yeah this chappie was kinda boring and trust me i wasn’t expecting a friendship speech and a hug. if i wanted to see something like that i would’ve sticked to yu gi oh >_>. i hope naruto doesn’t start rapping

and the ultimate battle is comming up: naruto vs kyuubi!! OOOH!! i can hardly wait ><!! i hope kyuubi takes a human form and battle it out like in the fanfics ^(^0^)^!! i just pray that kishi's a bit perverted like some fanfiction writers i know i make him into a girl <_<.

well enough of my ranting ^_^. great work catman. a little short but good. jah ne ^_^

  21. how come naruto didnt notice the samahada sword on killerbees back i mean u cant miss it

  22. i bet the nine tails is going to be so strong that kb is going to have to use the samadada to cut its chakra down a little

  23. NTG, Tea FTW! She has Naruto beat when it comes to friendship speeches 😀

  24. ah man naruto’s gonna die…..
maybe not the only rule that applies to this kid is Murphy’s law………don’t deny it it’s true!
plus i’m just waiting for evil to show up that was way to easy!!

  25. YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! One of the two battles we’ve waited the entire series to see… The other being Naruto vs. Sasuke… the final battle.

BUT… I can’t believe it. I thought Naruto was going to go the hole way without working with the fox.

I can’t believe I thought the battle with evil Naruto was going to turn into the fox vs. sage mode Naruto. It was just a teaser all along.

And I couldn’t agree more with Bob’s initial analysis of KB. Who knew he’d turn out to be an OK guy. I’m glad they rushed through his back story because of course he’s not that much different than the other jinchurichi we’ve met. ONWARD TO THE EPIC BATTLE WITH THE NINE TAILS!!!… Preferably with flashbacks and the Kyuubi talking shit about Naruto’s Dad and those couple of old geezers Madara and Hashirama. But then Naruto will make him eat it.

  26. ok then, after reading many of comments i decided Naruto’s I love you man moment was indeed needed because truly it was really a love me(Naruto) moment. Since, day 0 naruto knew what he wanted to do with his life and that is to be the damn hokage. That meant people wolud have to look at him respect and acknowledge him.Evil Naruto tried to use that goal Naruto set for himself. Naruto realizes that it was i bit of pride and also also a chance to rule over the people who scorned his hatred. that’s why his thanked evil naruto for helping him get closer to his goals but the reasoning and motives are from here on out are going to be pure because he already has the respect and love of his village.

  27. @Young Flava

It kindof makes you wonder doesn’t it? About Naruto’s strength throughout the series so far. We always thought he just didn’t give up, that he was fighting for the greater good, etc. etc. and now we see that he had some hatred inside that probably also helped him be strong.

Naruto realizes now though that he can’t rely on it as a source of strength, he needs to believe in himself completely… similar to how Yamato told Naruto to not rely on the Kyuubi, Naruto needed to learn to rely on his own strength.

  28. @kisuzachi
You are right, but I don’t think that KB knows how to use Samehada’s true abilities. I mean I’m sure that even Kisame had to train with it for a while before he learned how to use its full poweres.

  29. @ripcord & Young Flava
I agree with you guys on the whole Naruo relying on his hatred to make him stong, but you gotta admit that it helped him out where some of his most epic battles are concerned. Of course I think that there are only two battles that Naruto didn’t lose control: fighting Neji, and the one with Gaara.

He controled his hatred and told the 9 tails to give him some chakra, and he ended up changing Neji’s entire aspect on life.

With Gaara it was the same thing except he wanted to protect his friends. The end of the fight contributed a lot to this theory, because even though he was outta chakra he wanted to kill Gaara while he was using his chin to crawl towards him. When Sasuke told him that it was OK and that both he and Sakura were safe Narutoo smiled and fell unconscience.

Ever since those two fights, when Naruto uses 9 tails chakra it was when he was angry and couldn’t control his emotions.

  30. @rip the script I feel ya 100% but to me I don’t care if he had 1% or 2000% hatred made from concentrate. Everything that guy has done was for the to benifit the village from taking on Pein to stealing the damn scroll to learn shadow clone. What makes it crazy is when they introduce the Evil Naruto(bump bum bum) they made it out to be as if a part Naruto was leloch and his “friendship no jutsu” was naruto using his geiss or something. I kinda miss that knuckle head ninja I saw myself in. -(sigh)-

  31. @ sonelle with a chance I don’t agree with everything you brought up. Though he did control his anger well, He wasn’t tring to kill anyone. He wanted to merely disarm him so he could not harm the people. well, maybe you are right. I don’t know. Know Naruto he was chin crawling over there to give him a heartfilled speech so that he kills himself from guilt. Naruto is more than a ninja, he’s a motivational speaker.lol

  32. hey guys, check out Sasugay’s Susanoo’s official color http://i43.tinypic.com/21cwobt.jpg

  33. @kisu

I guess that makes sense… Amaterasu is black flames. Are there any confirmations that Itachi’s was the same color? I don’t recall seeing Itachi’s in color.

  34. yes it’s the same cause when naruto was still with jiraiya itachi used ameteratsu to escape the toad belly thing and naruto said something like what is that black fire?

  35. @ ripcord and WS, actually in the anime Itachi’s Susanoo is red, and i know of no other place where they showed Itachi’s in color other than the anime and Ultimate Ninja Heroes 3

  36. Nemo i looked up tthe chapter for you and naruto says it’s black so i guess we’ll have to beleive him

    http://beta.onemanga.com/Naruto/148/08/

  37. Itachi’s susanoo was orange…and red in the anime

  38. @ WS, no i’m talking about SUSANOO not Ameterasu. Itachi’s Ameterasu is black, his SUSANOO is RED. besides, Sasuke’s Susanoo’s more purple than black anyways

  39. here is a pic of Susanoo as it appears in the anime: http://naruto.wikia.com/wiki/File:Susanoo.JPG

  40. @Nemo Prime

Thanks! I don’t watch the anime, so I didn’t know. Of course, we can’t believe the anime as far as colors because Naruto’s natural chakra color is yellow, not blue. I guess Kishi never showed Itachi’s Susano’o in color in the manga… too bad.

  41. @ ripcord, no Kishi didn’t. and i don’t watch the anime anymore either, but i do keep up to date w/ videogame news and Narupedia, so that’s how i know the color

  42. I JUST GOT SOOO FUCKING EXCITED!!!!! THERE’S A NEW ULTIMATE NINJA STORM 2 TRAILER OUT!!!!!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P8sn5fLixZc

  43. Didn’t I JUST say the color…@NP before he posted the link

  44. @ naru, when i posted the color i must have been writing it @ the same time u posted yours (ie, i didn’t c your post b4 i posted my comment) and i posted the link for proof that it’s red in the anime

  45. It could be worse… the spam filter ate my comment saying what color it is, though I have a feeling if I bothered to fish it out, it would be before both of them… Plus what kind of idiot spybot marks an editor post as spam??? Bob must have gotten recycled spybots from villans R’ us’s used section… knowing him he probably got a good price but nevertheless…

  46. Oh@NP

    lolz@mart

  47. who really cares what color susano and amaterasu is lol

  48. @JimBean

We are trying to figure out if Sasuke’s Susano’o has the same character as Sasuke’s. We haven’t seen Yata’s Mirror or the Sword of Totsuka yet, although the last of Sasuke’s Susano’o we’ve seen suggests they will be there next time. If Itachi’s & Sasuke’s were the same color I would argue it increases the chances of them having the same weapons.

Besides, just knowing the colors of stuff in the Narutoverse is cool! We all thought (ok I thought) that Karin’s hair was black, Nagato’s hair was black, but they both turned out to be red. Those details don’t mean much as far as the story goes, but it is still cool.

  49. http://www.onemanga.com/Naruto/79/18/

Man isnt Neji amazing? Neji took out the trash 😀

  50. @ kisu, wtf does that have to do w/ anything?! also, wtf do u have against Hinata, who’s possibly the only character who actually acts as if she could exist in real life? also, Neji’s a fucking douchebag, there is no fucking redeeming quality in his character, y would any1 like him? he’s a coward, he has sub-par in fighting abilities that have shown no improvement since the Chuunin Exams (unlike every other character who got a helluva lot stronger over the time-skip), he treats his friends like shit, he has an unwarented god complex, he has the IQ of a fly; the only reason he beat Hinata is cuz she didn’t want to hurt him, after all, Neji has the Hyuuga’s curse mark, so Hinata could’ve blinded him and cut out his throat in a matter of seconds if she so wished. at least Hinata acts like a human being, and has shown incredible improvements in both personality and skill since she was first introduced

  51. Neji is: less human than Sasuke; less integral to the plot than Choji; dumber than Kiba; and possibly (possibly) a worse fighter than Suckura

  52. umm isnt neji the only one of the 11 to become a jonin? and as for his so called horrible fighting skills and his attitude… both have changed. And when one cmpares hinata and neji you cant compare the two. neji is far superior in fighting skills and intellect. i find it humorous people say neji is sub par when out of the konaha 11 he is the only one to reach jonin… that to me shows he has more than enough skills to be considered one of the stronger fighters, all this while in the hyuga clans so called weaker branch of the clan.

  53. also yea every one else got stronger just to try and keep up with neji lol. besides naruto and sasuke and shikamaru, neji was far and beyond ahead of the konoha 11.

  54. Kisu. Other than NP’s predictable reaction what was the point of that?

As far as Neji goes: He was my favorite villan when he was a villan. He is the #3 fighter of the Konoha 12 (behind Sasuke and Naruto) and much better than Hinata in that area. His personality is so-so, and wether you like it or not is up to yours…

As far as Hinata: 1. Not the most realistic (Shikamaru is) 2. Cannot beat Neji, she didn’t know the curse seal jutsu, as her father had no intention of making her the head of the family and only they learn it, plus it was never shown that anyone but the current head of the family knew it. 3. I find her personality annoying. 4. She MAY have made more progress then Neji did when compared to their former selves, but compared to eachother Neji literally outclasses her.

  55. Damn NP, way to stand up for Hinata. However, Mart does kind of clash with what you said…

  56. @Mart, two reasons actually
    1. I was re-reading the old chapters, or rather reading them for the first time.
    2. To mess with Hinata fans (and I dont really like her either)

  57. @Neji’s lack of overwhelming progress, its easier for a weakling to become strong than it is for someone strong to become stronger. Once you’ve mastered a style, its hard to improve upon it. Check out Aizen’s speech on Sokyoku Hill in Bleach to see what I mean.

  58. “Aizen’s speech”: If that speech says anything though, it’s that Aizen’s answer is to learn other styles once you master one style and then combine them for god-like powers. Look at all the (really) super ninja like Madara, Pein, Jiraiya, Orochimaru, Sasuke and Naruto, they all use multiple attack styles, where as sub super ninja just use one…

  59. @Mart, oh u said “Other than NP’s predictable reaction”. In that case i guess it was just one reason 😛

  60. “where as sub super ninja just use one…” that’s the downside to being from a clan. Kiba doest use ninjutsu or genjutsu same with Choji. I always wonder why ninja dont try to learn as much as they can. In that respect, Kakashi is the smartest ninja of all

  61. I think there are several reasons:
    1. Secrecy: Clans want an unfair advantage so they keep their hidden jutsu… hidden.
    2. Difficulty: It’s not easy to learn ninjutsu and most don’t even have masters like Jiraiya who know more than one style.
    3. Life expectancy: speaks for itself
    4. Mastery: it’s easy to progress in one style but then hard to catch up in other untrained ones because enemies are fighting with their mastered skill in life or death situations
    5. Character development: Kishi is nowhere as good with this as say OP or Kenichi (great anime/manga but surprisingly short)

  62. @kizuzachi

I was always curious about that myself. It seems son ninja just stop progressing. Like iruka for instance..i know his is an instructor but damn dude train and get stronger. it seems like the regular ninjas get to a certain level and just stop training to become better overall ninjas IMHO. Walmart1 summed it up pretty well…

  63. One thing I notice is that some ninja have abilities that closely resemble other jutsu that are supposedly specific to a clan. Ex. Naruto’s initial fox transformations and Kiba’s man-beast transformation, Choji’s multi-size jutsu and CS users transformations, Jiraiya’s Toad Shadow imitaion and Shikamaru’s kage mane, ect. All the really good ninja seem to have ripped of the clan jutsu a bit but not devoted themselves to that clan’s style.

  64. @ Nemo Prime
I dont want to really argue with you but the others made a good point. I mean Neji has really improved his character since the first part of NARUTO. Now he acts like a human being and doesnt treat hs friends as though they were whinny little kids. On a second note Hinata has made a lot of progress but that is only because her father didnt spend any training time with her as he did her little sister and Neji so she had tto develop in her own way. All-in-all everyone else made better points than I did so I’ll just leave you with that. If you were joking it is one helluva joke… if not then you are intitled to your opinion of the situation.

    @mart/kiz/prod
You guys are right about everyone having similar type jutsus. The trueth is I never thought of it and you guys really opened my eyes to that revelation. There are a lot of ninja who have similar type jutsu that boasts more power than that of the original. One example is Jiraiya’s Toad Shadow Imitation, it allows him to walk within the shadows of the person he chooses so that he can control their movements; where as Shikamaru’s Shadow Possession Jutsu, requires him to connect his shadow to that of his opponent for him to control their movements and actions. For jutsus to be secret family based there are a lot of imitators out there that are quite similar to that of the real thing.

As for the Iruka thing it is an interesting situation. My guess is that he is perfectly happy where he is and doesnt want to move up in the ranks, because lets face it Jonins are given the most dangerous missions in the village so if he were to become a jonin then his life expectancy would be pretty small. Of course we havent seen Iruka fight that much so we dont know what he is truely campable of but I’m sure that its not a lot because Naruto did have to save him in the first chapter.

Well that is the end of my rant…

  65. “he did her little sister and Neji so she had tto develop in her own way”: Actually, he (Hinata’s father) at least TRIED to train Hinata where Neji had to develop completely on his own. Neji gets some training in the fillers but only after he developed his curent techniques and proved his fighting skills.

As for Iruka: I would like to see him fight… I imagine he is an expert at the shinobi basics, and given that they are considered essential for all shinobi, they could be quite powerfull, especially well executed clone and substitution jutsu (the other basic, transformation would be situational or you would need an advanced version for combat effectiveness) That said, he’s no Kakashi, and got owned in all of his fights (Mizuki, Pein, and Naruto [sexy jutsued] )

  66. thanks for your replies. I was just using iruka as an example!
