I got mixed feelings of this chapter. And there’s not much to say about it to be honest.
The reason I got mixed feelings from it because the all mighty Hades got his ass kicked in the start of the chapter and Laxus gave up after being hit by only one attack! I think Mashima is trying to rush the plot a bit too much here. Well the Lightning Flame dragon sounds good, I’m getting more and more annoyed by fairy tail in the final battles, Natsu always gets owned easily and when he almost gets killed he gets help by someone and turns into a super dragon.
I don’t know what else to say so i guess i’ll leave it up to you all

I actually liked this chapter. And I think Laxus got hit with a couple of attacks. Also keep in mind Hades is powerful as ‘Hell’. Like what I did there. lol. Hades, Hell. Come on, it’s funny. lol.
I would like to see something other than Power-ups in most manga (Naruto, Bleach, FT) however most ultimate dragon modes are more creative than Power ups in other manga. I still would have prefered if the Union raid was the final attack, but at least we saw it. I think Natsu should upgrade his dragon slayer magic if he is going to keep eating things besides fire. I would like to see Natsu as a Mage with multiple different types of magic.
so one called the laxus makes fire to give natsu a power up. i remember that from last week.

but it was a decent chapter, but I think that Laxus noticed that he was over matched and decided to give Natsu the boast to beat Hades.
But natsu can eat lightening too? So he can eat fire, god fire and now lightening, I wonder what else he can eat now. Maybe that is his magic, that he can absorbs stuff and add it to his power.

I didnt like what Laxus did either. Hell of an entrance then he’d just give up in one chapter. I know Laxus said he wanted a FT to finish Hades but show us some cool stuff before doing that. I do hope Laxus gets to be a FT again and become the new master. Or he can join another guild and let him meet with FT again after some time.
seriously, evry boss battle is as white shinobi said. the repetetiveness and the plot not advancing character wise….losing its creativity.
I feel like Natsu is just a haxxx character to take down villans with a lot more skill. However I think the creativity is more in the sub-characters like Gray, Markov, an. Kana who have things invested. Even Laxus had a clever reason for returning (visiting Mavis’s grave which also means taking fairy glitter). Other than avenging FT, Natsu has almost nothing invested in this fight. He is just a power Patsy.
like as natsu is the main character, he have to kill the boss. thats the vibe I’m getting. he can power-up immensely with the right element but that also by chance happen to be given or be at the location in the last couple of arc’s.
I think that aside from plot needing natsu to win, I think that it is going to be shown here that absorbing the other magic is going to have bad side affects for a while (the side affects have been worse and worse everytime for the last few battles). That will hopefully motivate him to become stronger on his own instead of having to rely on everyone else all the time.

@pcgnome we’ve seen Natsu eat etherion magic before when he took down gerard after that he got magic poisoning, after that Happy said he had seen Natsu in the same state before when he ate Laxus lightning i bet Natsu will be stuck with magic poisoning again after this
the flame of rebuke Gerard gave to Natsu(oracion seis arc) has been the only power up witout side effects so far.
well i agree with white shinobi…why does natsu always get beat down first before becoming the hero. hey give someone the credit. I wish that laxus is the one that beat hades…. it would be much cooler that way…or maybe natsu should have another magic spell..like fire sword…fire beam…he should get an upgrade…hehe even fire pokemon learns new attacks when they get stronger.. maybe natsu shoul use fire blast or flame wheel…haha..anyway …do you guys think that laxus could become the next guild master?….he become a good guy and he is superpowerful (much stronger than natsu..haha)….
I enjoyed the chapter though its become such a predicatable manga, its like Bleach now almost, we Know Natsu gonna get some weird power up near the end by eating something odd and becoming a new dragon type thing,
I would like to see something new with the main bad guys;
Luxus was cool though finally changing and realizing his strength is not everything,
