Now this is what you call a masterpiece chapter. Everything that was supposed to be, was. The transition of the chapter was amazing coming from last weeks shocking death of Neji. I thought that the transition from that would be very difficult and by what Kishi has been doing lately, I thought that he would butcher it. Boy was I wrong, not only was I wrong but Kishi makes a great transition and commends this chapter to not only Neji but to all the casualties in this war, and yes this is now a WAR.
For the situation being as serious as it is right now, with this war and everything. The concept of Naruto and Hinata holding hands is very corny, now I know that kishi has a corny sense of romance. However, as corny as it is, Naruto finally conforming that he has some feelings toward Hinata fits the situation. Now I was never a fan of Naruto hooking up with Hinata, but I am a fan of Hinata because believe it or not what she did this chapter tops any female role in this whole series. It even matches the time when Tsunade went berserk on Orchimaru. We all know that females in Naruto do not have as large of an impact as the male characters. But Hinata just showed that the females in Naruto will not sit around looking dumb founded like Sakura. I mean for a main character not to say a single word in over 50 chapters or so, is lame. For so long now Naruto has been lacking strong female roles, for awhile the females were only there to look pretty or for fan service, but Hinata just showed ever one that a woman’s touch is best to soothing a broken heart.
What was it that I said about Obito a few weeks ago, oh yes, that he was “lame.” What a turn around he has made, I solute Kishi for turning possibly the greatest villain to the lamest to the greatest villain again. For the past chapters Obito has been kicking butts and just butchering Naruto with taunts. Even Madara the king of taunts, acknowledges that Obito is a force not to be taking lightly. It seems that Obito has made it his goal to change Naruto’s mind, to accept the inevitable and join him. But whats intriguing is the similarities between Obito and Naruto. We all know that Naruto and Obito had similar life experiences. Though, for some reason Obito has made it his goal to change Naruto’s at mind, and I think that reason is to prove that what he’s been doing all this time is justifiable and right. Let’s face it Naruto and Obito are the main ideals right now. While Madara, the Alliance, and the Tailed-Beasts are the supporting characters. Both Naruto and Obito have opposite ideals that contradict each other. And that is why Obito is so obsessed with turning Naruto to his side, because Obito with all of his heart believes that what he is doing is just. Though, if Naruto is right (which he is) than what Obito has been doing was the opposite of his mission to save the world. I think that Obito is seconded guessing his ways and wants a reassurance that his ways are right, and having Naruto change sides will do that for him.
Like I said before Hinata has come along way to this point of becoming the central female character, because so far Sakura is still down for the count. Tsunade is in half, Mei is beat up, and the other females, who knows what they are doing. Probably dying or giving medical attention to people. Either way Hinata is the woman, and I think that she will have a bigger impact on this war if not she already has made her mark. In my opinion, I do not think that Hinata has the power to support Naruto in this fight, sure she might deflect a finger of the Juubi once but after that she is way out of her league. But since Obito has seen how she is supporting Naruto emotionally, he might target her, thus hitting the final punch to push Naruto over the edge and losing hope for the Alliance. If Obito actually succeeds in killing Hinate, than all hopes are lost, because who will bring back Naruto from this experience. We saw last time that his father was able to help him out but now he has no one that can give him that emotional support. Sakura is out of the question, Kakashi is a realist and will know that anything he tries will be in vain, and Kurama might be able to help him out like he did now. So if Hinata actually ends up dead in the next few chapters than even, myself, will lose hope for the good guys to win this one. Either way Hinate is giving Naruto that emotional support that he desperately need. So do not be surprised if Obito will target her out of everyone and I hate to say it but Hinate’s time might be ticking.
- While it would make for a great twist if Hinate actually dies, I highly doubt that Kishi would kill her off. But than again I was proven wrong more than once by Kishi.
- A very rich emotional chapter, well done kishi.
- Madara is not even taking this seriously, did you see how laid back he was and he was laying back on top of the Juubi too.
- It might be possible that Naruto transfered some of his chakra to Hinate since he can do that and thus given Hinate that extra juice to help him out.
- It is pretty selfish for Hinate to get so ‘excited’ over holding hands with Naruto, when she just witnessed Neji die. But thankfully she comes around to her senses.
- Once again Bee shows of an desperate but an epic move to slow down the Juubi.
- And again the Juubi transformers into a fat jolly creature that has a huge back.
- Final time, this chapter was well done.
