Bleach Chapter 482: Bad Recognition

Chapter 482: Bad Recognition
Read Chapter

Ladies. Gentlemen. It is another very interesting chapter. Two major facts were revealed today. But first things first. Vlad is still standing on Ichigo’s bed getting on Ichigo’s nerves. With a quick play of teamwork between Ichigo and Inoue he’s now outside. No-one seems anyway impressed about this masked man. As the other focus on a more important matter.

The new recruits do seems scared, as to be expected. The line on page six is a bit awkward. If he hasn’t got business with Ichigo, why did you go there in the first place? Was he there to visit on one of the others three? Or Ishinn?

The guy doesn’t seem all that hostile at first glance. But as soon as Ichigo mentions the word Arrancar, Ivan gets a little pissed off and he finally reveals what he is.

A f*cking Quincy. My first chapter thoughts were right after all, the Quincy cross fall from his sleeve and he powers up a massive bow. Ryuuken has never really used his cross, but the huge difference between Ivan’s and of the Ishida’s. Could be he uses the cross as a catalyst. But I think uses that thing too. But he is not as strong as his father, which looks like he didn’t use the cross in the brief time we saw him use his bow.

The second and I think more likely; the hollow mask. They might have strengthened themselves using hollow. They wouldn’t be the first. Seeing how Quincy destroy hollow, they sure as hell won’t doubt about using them for their revenge. I wonder if we already get our first little fight in next chapter.

The chapter continues on. 11th squad actually being put to work for investigating, and not doing that badly either. Our old favorite man-boy-girl Yumichika looking even more flamboyant. The people of the village are responsible for their own disappearance. wierd… Quincy are likely to be involved but the matter of how, is still a mystery. I doubt Quincy will go after villagers seeing they are not Shinigami. They could also be looking for them as recruits. Low level soldiers. There is too little to go on for the time being.

Captain Commander Yamamoto is being kept up to date as the division conduct their respective investigations. Before a group of 7 masked men appear before him. Who look like they don’t have arms(there probably keep them on their backs, but I think it looks a bit weird). They don’t really introduce themselves but come with a short message.

  1. I see a Ryuuken and Ishida fight coming.

I bet Isshin is involved with the rebelion too. Seems like he might have been caught up in the extermination of Quincies because he was a sympathizer (there had to be at least a couple).

    Just thoughts as usual.

    -pcgnome out

  2. Instead of making the final arch about a stronger bad guy than aizen he decided to make it a war…excellent choice…welldone im looking 4ward to it.

  3. Men for me Bleach final was with Aizen. The fullbring arc and now this arc is like a spin-off. And now the anime is gonna end too. men that sucks. That`s why bleach end was with aizen and not even was a good end

  4. Tite already did a war though, the only way he can improve on an idea that he’s already done is if its like a royal rumble e.g shinigami vs quincy vs hollows vs royal court guards AND if there’s major deaths! First guy that needs to die is Chad – he’s bloody useless.

Its not that hard to do, One piece got it right so don’t see why Bleach (and Naruto can’t do the same)

  5. Nice review very interesting chapter.

  6. Good review, except for this part:
“A f*cking Quincy. My first chapter thoughts were right after all, the Quincy cross fall from his sleeve and he powers up a massive bow. Please try to clarify that.

Fucking hate quincies, a hell arch in which aizen comes back would have made for a better finale.

Is it just me or do we all HATE it when the enemy already knows everything about Ichigo? I hate that, I don’t like when the enemy already knows how powerful ichi is and still decides to challenge him lik fucking idiots. I would prefer that he doesn’t know who ichi is at all, that would make for a more interesting fight.

  7. I dont hate the quincies. Ishida never pulled out a big ass bow like this Ivan is doing, using the quincy token.

As for Ichigo. One possibility is that they want to recruit him. Seeing Ichigo was a human before he became a shinigami-representative. The f-word was mainly because I was thown off the the reveal of the (hollow)mask on Ivan’s face. The first chapter gave solid leads toward the Quincy. The initial reveal of Ivan did the exact oppesite.

So I was happy I turned out to be right on him being a Quincy. I laid it on a bit too thick I guess.

I agree with you one one thing. That the enemy already knows about Ichigo and suddely appears out of nowhere, just because. But I don’t think Aizen should return as a villan. I think a large group of Quincy could very well challenge the Gotei, they need to be a bit more guirella about their movements, but seeing how easily they move around in SS they are doing fine.

They have a know history against SS. A very bloody war. The only quincy have seen in proper battle is Ishida. The strength and abilities his father has are unknown.

The most intresting yet to be revealed is. what will young Ishida do when he finds out? Are we certain Ivan actually wants to have a chat with Ichigo or did he just let himself get side-tracked? A question a intentionally left out.
