Epilog:
All around the scares of the battle has tainted the land. Sky blacked by thunder clouds. At the edge of the canyon stands a familiar figure. Sasuke holds his hand to the air
“This will be my final Attack!”
Lighting lightens the dark sky. Sasuke stands hand raised ready to launch Kirin…
Sasuke: Danzou you will pay for what you did to my Brother!!

Shikamaru: Lord Hokage you summoned me?
The Hokage staring out the window onto Konoha,
Hokage: Yes. I heard that one of your pupils was first in his year to graduate from the Chunin Exams… Seems little Azuma has lived up to his name, and to his teachers expectations.
Shikamaru: Yes, Lord Hokage, but I still feel he is not ready to lead a squad alone…
Hokage: I am sure Azuma felt the same way when you led your first, mission… As I recall…..
The Hokage turns to face Shikamaru, “You where sent to bring me back to Konoha”
Shikamaru: Yes, but I failed in my mission and nearly killed, both Neji and Choji…
Hokage Sasuke: Actually, you saved my life, if your team hadn’t delayed me reaching Orochumaru I may not be standing before you today. Luckily both Neji and Choji where able to recover… but this is not as dangerous a mission. We need to find Naruto…
Shikamaru smile
Shikamaru: Don’t you mean Hokage Naruto…
Hokage Sasuke: I guess your right. The 7th Hokage, Too bad he only served a few years.
Sasuke thinks to himself “I always knew he wouldn’t be able to stay still for too long”

Azuma jnr: Alright team, this is a simple mission, we travel have to find Lord Uzumaki. Let’s first introduce ourselves to our new member…

A Young girl with short hair stands, up enthusiastically “Me First! I am Tsunade, named after the legendary 5th Hokage and one of the Legendary 3 Sanin of Konoha”

“That means I am next, I guess” “I am Hyuga Hizume” and with that Hizume sat back down…
Tsunade: Don’t mind him, he is actually pretty nice when you get to know him, right Zoomy!!
Hizume: I told you not to call me that!!
Azuma thinks to himself: Oh man, this may be more difficult then I thought…
Azuma: Well our new member is a special addition to the group, he passed his Academy exam 4 years younger then any of us did. Nothing less then what we would expect from the newest Uchiha and son of the Hokage, Uchiha Itachi.
Tsunade: Wow an Uchiha! Wonder if he has awakened his Sharingan yet… Here that zoomy you may have some competition, wonder which is stronger…
Hizume just sits quiet.
Tsunade: What cat got your tong Zoomy, not so tough now…?
Azuma: Quiet Tsunade, Don’t forget the only reason Hizume wasn’t promoted to Chunin was because he fought me in the semi finals…
Hizume: hm (turns his head away)
Tsunade: Ok Zooma, you’re the Boss.
Azuma: Well Itachi I am sure you make a fine addition to the team; we will meet here tomorrow then move out.

Night: Stormy Night, Lightning flashing everywhere.

Sasuke thinking to him, I can never sleep on nights like this, always brings back memories of…
Hidden Ninja grabs Sasuke around the neck and with his Finger on Sasuke temple,
Hidden Ninja: Ahh, my old friend Uchiha Sasuke. I still remember when we where first in this position.

Sasuke: Suigetsu…
Suigetsu: Do you remember what I said; “your heart didn’t even skip a beat” Seems you’ve grown soft in this time of peace. *whispers in Sasuke’s ear* you’re hearts skipped a beat.
With that Suigetsu, stabbed Sasuke through the Chest.
: You should have never betrayed me…
Lighting flashes and shows Sasuke standing behind Suigetsu Chidori in his hand…
Suigetsu: How? I, I felt your heart…
Sasuke: I thought by now you wouldn’t underestimate an Uchiha… Let’s take this outside…
With that Sasuke blasts Suigetsu out the window, onto the roof tops,

Suigetsu: ha ha ha, Lucky for me it’s raining, my wounds will be healed instantly! I would love to play a little longer Sasuke, but I have business to attend to…
With that Suigetsu liquefies and goes down the storm drain…
You cannot hide from my Sharingan
As Sasuke activates his Sharingan a sharp pain begins to surge from his eyes.
“It seems my eyesight is deteriorating faster then expected. I hope they can find Naruto soon; I won’t be able to protect Konoha much longer…”

Dark Cave:
Mysterious Figure: So Suigetsu it seems Sasuke hasn’t had the Heart to use his Brothers eyes yet.
Suigetsu: If he had this would have been a suicide mission!
Mysterious Figure: Stop Complaining. Sasuke seems desperate to get Naruto back to fill the Hokage’s role.
Suigetsu: Why would he send a lowly Chunin plus 3 Genin to search for him then?
Mysterious Figure: He obviously doesn’t want to raise suspicion of him becoming weaker.
Suigetsu: If that’s the case let me fight him, without his Sharingan I can beat him.
Mysterious Figure: No, if you push him into a corner he may resort to using his Brothers eyes. Let him believe he is in control…

    We’ve had a lot of “next generation” type blogs lately… This has gotta be the third or fourth new series…..

    I think Sasuke should have been compleatly blind but not dead, it would be cool if after relying so much on his sharingan he became a “daredevil” type ninja that used other things than sight.

    I think Sasuke doesn’t really have the power to become Hokage right now (because MS blinds him and it’s his only real strength, without it he’s about a Jounin maybe less) How ever, if he got a little bit stronger he might be STRONG enough to be hokage, as for being WORTHY enough, it’s all about how villagers see his battle with Danzo playing out…

Now that Sasugay’s the Gaykage, of Gayohagakure, i bet that Naruto is traelling the world and as become more perverted than Jiraiya (hopefully :) ). Except for turning Konoha into Gayoha, and Hokage into Gaykage, this was a good post. Like mart said, there’s a lot of next gen posts out now, but this is the 2nd most original one (Zep’s the most original), since for the first time Naruto isn’t the Hokage. Why’d u make Sasugay the Gaykage when there are so many better choices like Iruka or Ebisu :D

    the only person worthy at hokage status is Shikamaru, im a huge “Naruto becoming hokage fan” an it might even be cool to see Neji as Hokage but Shikamaru is best for the village

    I honestly thought of either Shikamaru or Neji for the role but I thought, Kishi likes to have a flow of Hokage’s,

    the 2nd Hokage was the Firsts brother.
    the 3rd Hokage was trained by the 2nd (Bell Test)
    the 4th was trained by Pervy Sage, (Bell Test)
    the 5th was trained by the 3rd himself plus a Senju clan member descended from the 1st .
    the 6th (messes up my whole theory but he not really Hokage yet. I actually hope Kakashi gets it here then my theory is very strong)
    the 7th (in the story) Naruto, trained by Kakashi who was trained by the 4th, also trained by pervy sage who was trained by the 3rd. (Bell test)
    the 8th (in the story) Sasuke, same as Naruto (Bell Test) Sasuke just trained with Oro trained with the 3rd

    Remember Kakashi only passed team 7, he never passed any other Squad…
