The History of Tobi: Part 2 :Surprise

Kakuzu: “It’s only been a few hours since I left, but I’m getting tired of searching for this Minato. The land of Earth is vast, and all I have to go on is that he is on a mission with his Genin squad somewhere here! At least I’ve finished searching the Western side but I preferred it when Madara’s plans were dormant, at least then I could make fast money instead of doing this crap!”

Kakuzu releases three of his masks and orders the Fire and the Wind Beasts to go South, the Lightening Beast to go North, while he goes East.

Meanwhile elsewhere…..

Minato throws kunai into all the surrounding trees and kills every Iwagakure ninja caught in the ‘Net of Kunai’. Kakashi, Rin and Obito look on in amazement at their sensei’s speed. The forest floor is lined with Iwagakure corpses.

Kakashi: “Minato-sensei is………… incredible. See Obito? That is what a ninja can do when he’s serious, something you’ll never be able to do.”

Obito: “Shut the hell up Kakashi! Some day I’ll be stronger than you, just wait and see!”

Kakashi: “That will never happen. Such a thing is……… a pipe dream.”

Obito: WHY YOOOOOOU!!!!” (Obito punches at Kakashi)

Minato (stops Obito’s fist): “Teammates should work together, not fight each other.”

Rin: “You two need to chill out!”

Kakashi (thinking to himself): “You idiot. You’re lucky Minato-sensei stopped your fist, cause I would have put you in the hospital for a month.”

Minato: I hope you guys can at least try to get along. I’ll have to leave you for now, the Konoha ninja have told me they are vastly outnumbered, and being the cool guy that I am, I have to help. But I trust that you guys will be okay without me, after all Kakashi’s a Jonin, Obito’s an Uchiha and Rin is a very skilled medical ninja. Remember, teamwork.”

Minato leaves at super-human speed and reaches the Konoha ninja in less than 5 minutes. Minato decimates the army of Earth ninja without breaking a sweat.

Konoha-nin 1: “Thank you Minato-san, you are truly amazing.”

Konoha-nin 2: “Yeah, he’s incred-…Ugh! (he falls to his knees)”

All the ninja around Minato fall.

Minato: “What’s going on? Did they get poisoned or something? No, that’s just not logical. Get out here! I know you’re here!”

Minato looks at the Konoha ninjas’ bodies and sees very small senbons (really small needles) in them. He looks at the angle at which they entered and by doing that, he calculates the trajectory and-….He appears right behind the ninja that threw them in the first place. Minato kicks him out of the treetops.

Ninja (clapping): “Damn, it seems you’re as good as they say you are. This might be more troublesome than I thought.”

Minato: “Who are you?”

Ninja: “Well, its only fair that I tell you my name. When I do, you’ll never hear it again, because you’re gonna be a dead man! Kakuzu, and now you die!

Kakuzu uses Katon: Gokakyu  No Jutsu (Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu) and Minato jumps over it, but Kakuzu jumps right in front of him. Kakuzu punches him with Wind chakra around his fists, but Minato vanishes in a puff of white smoke leaving just a log. Minato then comes behind him and uses a move reminiscent of the Hidden Lotus, but he uses his naturally high speed to kick Kakuzu around, instead of opening the gates. Minato then uses a scroll to wrap their bodies together. With both their bodies wrapped they go down to hit the ground. When they hit the ground, a huge plume of dust erupts from the tremendous force. When the dust clears, they both stand looking at each other.

Minato: Who are you really? Not every ninja can successfully escape that move, let alone escape it with no injuries.”

Kakuzu: “I told you before I’m Kakuzu. This is why I hate you Konoha ninja, you think all you’re moves are invincible. It was the exact same thing when I fought Hashirama.”

Minato: “You fought Hashirama? That’s impossible! You would have to be old, but you appear young.”

Kakuzu: “I’ve been around before the Hidden Village system. I am quite old….. that makes me stronger than you, child!”

Kakuzu puts his fire chakra into his kunais and shuriken, he then throws shuriken-kunai-fireballs at Minato. Minato uses his blinding speed to dodge them and appear behind Kakuzu. He uses Lightning Release: False Darkness, Kakuzu has no time to dodge and takes the full force of the lightning. The attack is so powerful, it slams him through several trees. Kakuzu gets up and looks at Minato in the distance, then suddenly Minato appears right in front of his face. Kakuzu quickly stabs Minato in the heart with a kunai, but then Minato turns into lightning and this electrocutes Kakuzu, leaving a small crater.

Minato: “You are very skilled indeed Kakuzu. You surrounded yourself with Wind nature chakra and  nullified my lightning attacks. Even at point-blank range, I’m impressed.”

Kakuzu: “Hmhmhmhm! It seems that you underestimated me…. Big mistake!”

Kakuzu disappears from the crater and encases his hand with Wind chakra. He hits Minato in the chest and then pumps fire chakra into his hand. The fire and wind combine and both of them are enveloped in a large tornado of fire. Minato grabs Kakuzu’s hand and throws him, but Kakuzu lands on his feet and laughs as the tornado envelops Minato. The Minato in the flames dissolves into oil and a huge explosion occurs which catches Kakuzu in the blast. Kakuzu is sent flying into the air and Minato kicks him, but Kakuzu grabs his foot and throws him to the ground. Kakuzu uses Wind Release: Great Breakthrough to push Minato to the ground even faster. Minato hit’s the ground and creates a large crater upon impact.

Kakuzu: “Not only have I killed you, but I can turn you in for a bounty larger than the one on Hashirama! That‘s what you get for looking down on your opponent.”

Meanwhile…. Kakashi throws his kunai at the Earth ninja attacking them, Kakashi faints.

Back to Minato and Kakuzu.

Minato gets up and senses that Kakashi threw the kunai he gave him the day he became a Jonin. Minato stands and turns his back to Kakuzu to try and find the exact direction the kunai was thrown. Kakuzu covers his hand with Wind chakra in the form of a spear and rushes towards Minato at great speed.

Kakuzu: “Never turn your back on a strong opponent! DIE!!!!-Huh? (Minato caught his hand without even looking)”.

Minato: “Sorry Kakuzu, but my students need me. I cant spend anymore time with you, especially since you’re not giving me any info on who you’re working for.”

Kakuzu looks on astonished at how easily Minato stopped him. Minato turns to face him now and uses a Rasengan to blast him away. Kakuzu flies through numerous trees and falls unconscious.

Minato teleports to where the kunai was thrown and kill the Earth ninjas. Minato sits and waits until Kakashi and Rin awaken.

Kakashi: “Sensei, why?!”

Minato: “The mark on this kunai (that I gave you) is a jutsu type that alerts me when it flies.

Kakashi: “So…the enemies….?”

Minato: “I defeated them all.”

Minato: “I’m sorry I wasn’t in time Kakashi…. I heard it all from Rin.”

Minato takes Kakashi and Rin back to Konoha.

Meanwhile at the place Minato left Kakuzu…. Kakuzu’s body gets covered in a puff of white smoke and reveals a creature with two masks. It uses its Wind chakra to fly to where the Earth ninjas were killed. The beast fuses with one of the Earth ninja’s body. A man walks into the cave where this is happening.

Man: “Good work, Kakuzu.”

Kakuzu: “Thank you Madara. I used a transformation jutsu on the Fire and Wind masks so they would face Minato and so you could get the chance you wanted, without any true danger to me.”

Madara: “Yes, thanks to the masks battling Minato, I was able to copy his Flying Thunder God technique. This jutsu shall come in handy for the next part of my plan.

Kakuzu: “I also used a transformation jutsu then took these Iwagakure ninja to battle these Genin.”

Madara: “I can see that, and you also managed to force the young Uchiha to awaken his Sharingan. It’s all going as planned.”

Kakuzu: “Yes, endangering his friends worked like a charm. That devotion to his friends made him release his Sharingan. Also Madara, It seems you were right about him having Earth element, and being an Uchiha, he’ll naturally also have Fire element, making his heart perfect for you. The Earth nature of his heart makes him compatible with my jutsu and the Fire element means you can now gain better access to your Sharingan’s abilities.”

Madara: “Very good job Kakuzu. You pieced together a large part of my plan. It seems your decades of life are paying off.”

Kakuzu: “I better be get paid more money once you’re in charge for my exceptional part in this. My masks almost got destroyed fighting Minato, he used some kind of weird jutsu to do this.”

Madara: “Don’t worry, you will be rewarded for youe hard work. Thanks to you, it’s almost time for the next part of my plan to be put in motion.”

Kakuzu does the transplant on Madara and this new heart restores his original Mangekyou Sharingan.
