Hi nartudards and narutardettes, it’s good to be back to Shannaro!!! again. My trip was a blast and now I’m back well-rested and ready to catch up with what’s been happening to Naruto over the last few weeks, so bare with me as some old news to you may be brand new to me. It was touching to see Naruto convince Nagato to believe in Jiraiya’s ideals again even after all that’s happened. The last technique Nagato used however, the “bring everyone back to life jutsu”, seemed kinda cheap though. These type of techniques (like Chiyo’s life transfer jutsu) destroy the tension in future battles ‘cause permanent death is no longer a certainty. Remember when DC killed off Superman and then brought him back? It was a good way to increase comic sales, but in the end it just felt cheesy. But I’m getting off track.
In this chapter, Sasuke and his team are intercepted by Tobi/Madara while on their way to Konoha; Tobi doesn’t like it when one of his Akatsuki members start running off on his own, even if it’s Sasuke. Sasuke wants out of Akatsuki since he already captured Eight-Tails for Tobi, but the poor sap is informed by Tobi that the one they brought in was a fake. Add one point to the Sasuke’s Failures Score Board. Regardless, Sasuke doesn’t want to be Tobi’s errand boy any longer and wants to go and destroy Konoha. Unfortunately, he learns that Nagato beat him to it already. Add another point to the score board please. And to touch it all off, Zetsu mentions that Naruto has grown stronger than Sasuke. Ouch. One more point please. So what is Sasuke going to do now? I mean he’s such a smart and powerful ninja now that I’m sure he could make a name for him anywhere; but no, it seems he has to kill someone just to satisfy his own thirst for vengeance. And so Sasuke falls right into Tobi’s hands again without a fight and is off to kill Danzo at the Five Kage’s meeting – exactly what Tobi wants. Why is such a smart guy like Sasuke being led around by the nose so much? Does he even know what he wants anymore? I bet if Tobi told him some nuns at an orphanage were responsible for the destruction of his clan, he’d go and burn it down.
Yeah right, Sasuke is probably going to cry himself to sleep now knowing Naruto is more uber than him.
Also, attacking the Five Kage’s meeting sounds like suicide to me. You can be sure that security will be super tight and each Kage will be powerful shinobi in their own right. If I were part of Team Hawk right now, I’d start writing my resignation letter about now. Speaking of Kages, let’s list them now. Fire country will send Danzo, Wind country will send Gaara (yay!), Lightning country will send that ugly and all-muscles guy, I don’t think we’ve met the Kage from Earth country yet, and I believe it’s been revealed that Tobi is actually the Kage of Water country. If there’s going to be a fight there, it’s gonna be one hell of a show I bet.
Naruto has thrown a wrench into Tobi’s plans with Nagato’s betrayal. It forces Tobi to play another card from his hand, something he reefer’s to as the Moon’s Eye Plan. It’s too early to speculate what that plan is, but Tobi did say he was tired of being cautious so you can bet it’s gonna be something big and daring. With Nagato dead, Tobi needs someone else to sync with Gedo Mezo – the big Bijuu eating statue, and guess what, Sasuke is supposedly the next candidate. I’m a little confused though, I thought the Gedo Mezo was something connected to the Rinnegan as it was originally Nagato’s summon. With Nagato dead, why does it still exist and why is Tobi implying that even a non-Rinnegan user can sync with it? Oh well, poor Sasuke, as much as you want to play rebel-without-a-cause, you always still end up as someone else’s little pawn, hey?
Lastly, like the color spread in this chapter suggests, Naruto will join forces with the Lightning ninja to rescue Eight-Tails (Killerbee). Unfortunately, Killerbee was never captured in the first place is probably resting at a resort somewhere. I’m not sure where this story will take us, but it would be cool for Naruto to meet Killerbee and maybe get some training from him on how to use Kyuubi more effectively. And on a final note, I just want to tell Sakura to stop crying already, it’s part 2 already so get your act together. Playing the victim isn’t going to bring Sasuke back and maybe, just maybe, he just isn’t that into you.

Great post. I think Sasuke is playing double agent with Tobi/madara. I don’t think that he is so easily manipulated into running and doing Tobi’s will. I think when he gets to the Kage meeting Natuto might meet him and correct his ways, he’ll leave not doubt. I think i can smell a Garra/sasuke battle reunion coming. Deep down, i have no idea what Sasuke is doing with his life. :S
How suprised will Sasuke be when one of the kage’s is Tobi/mardara.
There is alot going on in the Naruverse right now, i hope that the village is restored very soon as that is a big representation for the fire country and especially for the Konoha ninja’s spirit. Naruto has matured heaps, good to see. I’m expecting a couple of slow chapters e.g. checking on villages, quest to revive Tusnade, kage’s talking, Sasuke’s movement, Killerbee on a beach somewhere kissing girls (i think he’s perverted but not as much as the legendary Jiraiya) Naruto forming a team with the Thunder ninja’s to search for Sasuke..
Anyways, I’m enjoying the friday Naruto fix regarless!

1. Zetsu split: WTF, so thats one thing he can do…
2. Sasuke has Sussano, he didn’t say it out right but he implied as much, whenever he wants to try something new, it’s always sharingan related, ex. Lee and the valley of the end. Plus it’s the last thing he really has to do, he’s already prefected lightning jutsu, they aren’t going to get stronger than Karin…

Bad ass villan plans… WTF??? the only thing this name reminds me of is Tskyomi being the moon godess. He should have just said “Plan B” and been MORE of a cliche villan…
I say the hokage meeting breaks down as such:
Naruto and Gaara vs. Danzo and KillerBro vs. EarthKage and Madara (entorages included)
Here’s how I came to this breakdown, Naruto will definately force his way into the Kage meeting and Danzo can’t really stop him, he’s the village hero and the strongest Shinobi in the village (If Danzo contests this all Naruto has to say is “where were you?”) and eventually he will ultimately disagree with Danzo’s views. Gaara is then going to side with Naruto, he isn’t as loyal to the leaf as he is to the man who saved his life literally and figuratively. Danzo’s a slime and will use Sasuke’s deflection against Naruto to win over KillerBro, and the Madara will pawn whoever’s left (earthkage) to get support.
Ah poor little emo boy. Lost to Naruto, lost to Killerbee, and lost with Nagato. And now he wants to kill the 5 kages, an impossible task. yes IMPOSSIBLE. You saw gaara kick a$$ before and Killer bee’s older bro is strong too. Plus we haven’t even begun to see Danzo’s true strength. To want to be 3rd hokage instead of Sarutobi he must be dead strong. But he is an old fart now.
Eh i guess we will have to wait and see.
Oh and Naruto is probably going to see Killer bee.

by the way, Sasuke has developed so much since the series started. I think I should point those:
1. At first he was a cool guy and the best in his age group.
2. Later he became arrogant and after that he became emo kid and left for Orochimaru.
3. that continued untill he killed Orochimaru and became normal somewhat.
4. then in the fight against Itachi he started to become pathetic and against KillerBee it was proved.
5. now he wants to kill the five kages altogether, so I will say that he has finally become a comedian.
To everyone who thought Gara lost his abilities after having the ichiibi (hope i spelt it correctly) sucked out of him…HAH!!! also Kankuro has a new trick?!…look out for that in the upcoming fights.
I seriously can’t believe emoboy doesn’t at least suspect that he’s being toyed with by Madara…maybe he just wants to see what his ultimate plans are (why his brother did what he did). If not he deserves to die.
BTW what do you think Madara’s ability is? (you know the whole passing through him thing) or is it too early to speculate?

Anyways i was reading the manga and realize Sasuke doesn’t kno that Garra is the Kazekage, an ive always wanted to see a rematch between them. An i was hoping that Tsunade would be at the meeting so that she and Killerbro, btw nice nickname mart1, could get into an arguement ….. jus to see who is stronger. anyways the five kages vs. team hawk….. all i can say is…….LOLOLOLOL IS THIS A EFFFING JOKE. The Kage’s will DESTROY those idiots…. well Danzo might not … b/c he never does anything but the others im sure are pretty hardcore.
AN we all kno Tobi is Danzo rite ….ok good b/c how can both Danzo and Tobi decide to “deal” with naruto. AND duhhh!!!! Maybe he sent Sasuke to prove to everyone that he is a threat and that he is justified in wanting him dead. Also the meeting is about Akatsuki which when he shows up he will be identified as. Maybe he doesn’t want Sasuke dead but totally isolated from kanoha. Therefore adding a deeper connection to the tobi Madara. They could be brothers, Danzo could have given his right eye, making Madara’s sharinggan permanent like the legend said.

1. the looks—> danzo has a bandage around the same eye that tobi has his sharingan, and bandages around the same am tobi has rods in…… the only thing is the hair…. but all he did is pat it down
2. the hatred—–> they both despise the ways of the first hokage and Danzo of course wants to control it….. and Tobi always seem to avoid it
3. The timing —–>back when Tobi said to the other akaski (u kno wat i mean…..spelling) members “HE HAS BUSSINESS TO ATTEND TO” Danzo magically becomes hokage. and how did Tobi kno about Konaha without Zetsu saying anything first
4. The Naruto —-> They both seem to just automatically wants to deal with naruto at the same time …..REALLY

sasuke has been failing his whole life
1.his first kiss was a guy
2.he got a hickie from fagg{orochimaru}
3.he gets pwned by the sound four
4.he leaves the village like a punk to get stronger
5.he killed orochimaru when he sick and all
6.he left the village get stronger while naruto stayed and got way more stronger{good catch busshybrow}
7.lost to naruto because naruto just scratched him on the forehead protector to prove a point
8.he fought itachi while he was ill he still lost because sasuke was already half dead when itachi was just about to kill him but he confessed that he wasnt a bad person by letting his brother live
9.killerbee pwned sasuke and his whole team and tricked them in the end even though sasuke had the sharingan
10.for the upcoming event if sauke and his whole team couldn’t stand a chance against killerbee does he really think he would have a chance against the hokages.

Sasuke may not try killing ALL 5 kages, maybe just Danzo. besides, if i was him, i’d have no prob, i’d just burn the building down w/ Ametearsu and then use Kirin or somthing to finish anyone who escapes w/out flames. i’d make a pretth good villian in that i’d figure out how to not let my enemies find a way to stop me (ex: don’t put a “stop” switch on my doomsday device) and i even have this wicked evil laugh.

naruto its getting mature chapter after chapter, the black spot of this chapter was all that crying of sakura. instead of cry why she go and help naruto
@ sasukethebeast and bushybrow: i read Gaara still has sand powers even w/out Shukaka, the powers tho r weakened. so basically he just either won’t b able to do extremly large sand attacks or he’ll just get tired easier, but he still has his powers and enuf 4 Kankuro to say he doesn’t need bodygaurds

i think that only the raikage can beat sasuke and his team, and we dont know who is the kage tsuchikage(sorry if i spell bad) and what powers he/she have

no one will want to help because the balance of power is destabilized, they’ll get angry, Tobi/Mizukage will stir the embers of war/chaos (he said he was done with being cautious), etc.. then sasuke will show up and get his ass kicked by Raikage before he can fight danzo. I’m sure there will be some saving grace in all the madness to come, but it’s still too early to tell what.
naruto definitely won’t be there. he’ll be off chasing killerbee at this “Enka Ninja” place with Samui’s team, re-convincing him of his bonds with his pupils/brother, and getting further training (before getting pwned by Kisame and being extracted…sorry Bee, it’s inevitable. at least you can train naruto before you die). i actually have my theories that naruto will eventually be extracted of the kyuubi, somehow stay alive/be revived (..tsunade, but kishi wouldn’t pull the same card).and then face off against his own inner demon alongside sasuke against madara.
by the way, anyone else notice how the 8-tails by itself has been the only mild tempered tailed (and dare i say, rational) beast so far? The rest have just been totally primal (3tails) or just plain psycho evil if they’re able to talk (kyuubi, shikaku). The 8tail doesn’t act like a tailed beast at all….just thought it was strange, and maybe means there’s a possibility that all the beasts aren’t rage/hatred-based like what we’ve seen so far.

oh…and the sand ninja are going to destroy whoever they fight you can count on some good fights to come. I’ll wager Gaara has some new jutsu up his sleeve after being defeated by Deidera…he’s not the type that wouldn’t change or improve his fighting style after getting beaten/killed. I’m sure he’s more powerful than ever before.
Ok this is just a shot in the dark theory… but doesn’t Tobi/Madara’s appearance from nowhere and the way he appeared remind you of Kakashi’s Mangekyo Sharingan ability of sending things to another dimension? Isn’t it possible that his teleportation ability is using that same Mangekyo Sharingan ability except being able to control it to focus just on himself and to send to an exit point he knows of within the dimensional transfer? b.c the way he appeared looks exactly like kakashi’s ability when he was turning deidera into a parapalegic
I missed that Madara had knowledge of Danzo’s hokageship, this could easily have been from some kind of informant, however, zetsu, his main spy didn’t tell him, he just knew, so score one for the Danzo-Madara theory.
I think Sasuke might just go for Danzo and play the rest by year.
As for Gaara, he has his sand jutsu, he just doesn’t have Shukaku. For those of you who want a Sasuke-Gaara rematch, I ask WHY??? Sasuke would absolutely ANAHILATE Gaara, 1. he doesn’t have the same limits on Chidori anymore so he can repeditively defeat the sand jutsu again and again and 2. Gaara can’t turn into Shukaku so he would get destroyed like his pre-transformation self did in the Chunin exams.
SoundwaveX, yeah it’s pretty obvious that the teleportation technique is EMS related because no one else can even come close to doing it (cept Minato/Kakashi)

First of all, Sasuke now wants to kill all the Kages!!!!???? Just how messed up is this dude, seriously, he’s making me lose my composure with his indecisiveness X-(! Sas-gay is strong, but I dont think he can kill a single Kage at the meeting, except maybe Danzo, but we dont know what he can do yet. We dont know who the Mizukage is because its not confirmed if Madara is STILL the Mizukage, Kisame only stated that he was the Mizukage at some point in time, so it may or may not be now. I personally hope it isn’t him because I want to see another new Kirigakure ninja.
Here’s a bonus to seeing the Mizukage. Gaara left out with bodyguards and I’m sure all Kages will do the same, so here’s the good news. The Mizukage is bound to leave out with the other Swordsmen of the Mist, that means we finally get to see their swords and their abilities. Now you Kiri haters will finally see what the greatest Village ever can do. All it’s ninja are badass killers; Kimimaro, Zabuza, Haku and Kisame!
There’s no way that Sasuke will be able to sleep at night knowing that Naruto has surpassed him by beating the most powerful ninja so far. As for the statue, I think all the Akatsuki members were bonded with it, but they need a certain amount of members to extract Biju efficiently. I think it’s still there because its bonded to Zetsu, Tobi and Kisame. Remember that while extracting the 8-tails Sasuke wasn’t a part of it, so I think what Tobi meant was that he will bond Sasuke to the statue once he can be trusted, so they can have enough members to extract Biju again.
Well guys, thanks to Pein, Naruto finally understands other people. Instead of going into his usual temper, he talked it out. I think he’s really becoming the Child of Prophecy, now that Nagato’s dead. I think Nagato’s happy seeing Naruto do what he thought was impossible…..achieving peace peacefully.
Crazy, just absolutely insane that Sasuke would even think about killing the Five Kages! Gaara has beaten him before, and now he’s a Kage. DING right there shows that he can’t beat one.
And over all, I don’t think Danzo would let the Root or the Black Ops take a break! WHOOPS, that’s crossing the boundary line.
Final, Sasuke can’t even beat Naruto, the one who defeated Gaara before, beat Pain/Nagato, plus he scored a kill on at least one Akatsuki member other than Nagato: Kakuzu, one of the most valuble ones, a member with 6 HEARTS!

@mart, all Sasuke managed to do to Gaara was stab him. Because of Gaara’s unstable mind he snapped at seeing his own blood and let the Shukaku take him over. This new Gaara is more calm and rational, he CAN defeat Sasuke. Remember that Gaara could have also defeated Deidara without having an elemental advantage, but because protected the village, he lost. Remember that Deidara’s chakra was Earth and Sasuke’s was lightning, that gives Sasuke the advantage, and Deidara still almost killed the bastard. So Gaara fought him on equal ground, while Sasuke had an advantage. Bottom line, it would be an interesting rematch, with an unpredictable outcome (yeah right, Gaara would kick Sas-gay’s emo, snake-loving ass).
Naruruler, I’m not much of a Sasuke fan, but I apreciate him for what he is, 1. he could definately take Gaara even though he lost before, he got stronger while Gaara got weaker.
Also, Sasuke’s taken out more Akatsuki members than Naruto, he took out Oro. (Ex. Akatsuki), Deidra (who escaped Naruto), and Itachi (who took on Naruto as a 1/3 clone).
Kisu., Sasuke STILL has his elemental advantage over Gaara. He lost because he couldn’t sustain using Chidori, now he can with ease so he has nothing to fear from Gaara. Also, while Gaara has become calm and gained Kage status, He recently got a LOT weaker, he wasn’t relying on Shukaku anymore but he still got the additional chakra naturally. Even if he had his pre-extraction strength, do you really think that would stand up to any of his four best techniques? (Karin, Amatseru, Tskyoumi, and Sussano [unconfirmed but likely]) Hell NO his Sand Shell (the one right next to his body, not the sphere) MIGHT save him from Amatseru and his Sand eye ball MIGHT save him from Tskyoumi but Karin and Sussano would still destroy him.
As for the Gaara Deidra fight, yeah he MIGHT have won, but he wasn’t guarenteed a win even if Deidra didn’t attack the village, those bombs in his armour were what really got him, the village was just means to that end, he still could have gotten them in place another way.
@ kisu, i’m sideing w/ mart on Sasuke vs Gaara. Sasuke only lost from not able to use Chidori properly, the curse seal causeing extreme pain and Gaara going Bijuu on his butt. now, all those factors r gone. also i think the reason y u r calling Sasuke gay is that u yourself r uncomfortable w/ your sexual preference and project it upon others to make yourself feel better

Alright I was actually excited with this new chapter, sasuke actually tryin to attack tobi/madara was for me just him testing madara out, I think that since naruto said he’s gonna help those 4 could ninja out they will all take off looking for him, mean time sasuke will come back and do w/e he’s gonna do which is suppostly take down 5 kages, which I dont see happening, Im still curious about tsunade because if she does come back outta her coma she will presume to be the hokage again , what will danzou do then? and Sasuke knows that Danzou is the reason for his clan getting wipped out, so id say that Danzou is gonna have to fight him sooner or later, what do you all think about that?
@Mart, I think the main thing here is that you’re underestimating Gaara and overestimating Sasuke. Sasuke doesn’t have an advantage over Gaara mainly because SAND and EARTH are two different things entirely. Gaara doesn’t have Earth element chakra, in fact his chakra is unknown. If Sasuke uses the Kirin, Gaara could shield himself with the sand and the heat from the explosion might turn the sand into glass. If he can control sand he may be able to control glass as well (Toph in avatar with the Metal-bending), but this is just me theorizing.
@JPUA, you are way off. I call Sasuke gay because every girl he comes in contact with falls for him and he just shuns them with his cold indifference (this is only cool when badass ppl do it like Kaiba in Yugioh and Vegeta). Kisu. 2 things:
1. Sand chakra isn’t neccesarily earth (it’s a combination of earth and wind) HOWEVER it has been shown to have the properties of earth, namely a strength against fire and a WEAKNESS to lightning as shown in the original Sasuke-Gaara fight.
2. “sand he may be able to control glass as well”
Avatar is a great show, but it’s elemental style fighting is VASTLY different from Naruto’s. Avatar elements free flow, ex. metal bending, cloud bending and sand bending, however, Naruto elemental styles are standard in that each technique belongs to one element and that inbetween techniques have their own half “elements” such as Sand, Mokyuton, Hyoton ect. I find it unlikely Gaara would have TWO of these rare techniques, “glass” would probably be crystal style anyway not sand.
As far as underestimating Gaara, I don’t see him growing much in power since being defeated, he’d have to overcome his handicap and then train more all in the relatively short time since his own capture. (A few months at most) and in what way am I overestimating Sasuke? He CAN use chidori with no shown limit (he probably has one but it’s not a low number any more) and he CAN use Amatseru, Tskyoumi, and Karin (Sussano pending, but he “I wanna try something” statement makes it likely)

@mart, Sand is an element by itself. Gaara doesnt have wind or Earth chakra. The wind was the Shukaku’s. You overestimate Sasuke’s composure. The easiest way to beat him is to overcome his most powerful jutsu. Unlike Naruto, Sasuke gives up once his trump card is beaten, and that’s when Gaara can get his moves in. Remember that Gaara only has to move the sand around, that doesnt take much chakra, its like Shino moving his bugs around. The avatar thing was just an example and I know that the element thing is different in Naruto and Avatar. Gaara’s greatest strength is Sasuke’s biggest weakness. He’s low on patience and always tries to go for the kill quickly, that wouldn’t work on a ninja like Gaara. Only one person can truly know who’d win…and he’s Kishi.

bob, nice post and I agree about the whole pein bringing back to life jutsu is being really cheesy. The first time I read that chapter when pein brought back all the leaf ninjas, I was like “WTF… everyones alive again?”
1. I have no clue what sasuke is after or what he lived for but i’m guessing he is going to be another pein, trying to go around and let other people suffer so they could understand his pain
2. The whole Zetsu splitting thing wasn’t that surprising but we still haven’t seen any of zetsu’s ability yet…damn

TOBI MOON EYES PLAN- tobi plan from the start was to gather all the tailed beast by having pein control the statue that will extract the bijuus but since pein is gone, I believe sasuke can control the statue with Tskyomi because I think the statue is becoming more into a demon itself when it extract bijuus. We have already seen sasuke control a snake summoning or a ninja with genjutsu but since Tskyomi is a strongertype of genjutsu then I think it is possible for using Tskyomi to control the statue. The statue opens up more eyes, each time it extract a bijuu so a sharingan user can control it and plus, the statue doesn’t have a host/ brain to think so it would make it alot easier to control with Tskyomi

On Sasuke’s victory over Deidra: He did what he did (what you think about Deidra’s suicide is your choice) with his own power, He was the one that feed his Curse seal chakra for later use, He didn’t TAKE Oro.’s body and he didn’t use it in that fight anyway, as for “Oro.’s summon” Sasuke used his own chakra to summon and control it. Oro. Taught him the summoning jutsu and gave him the CS to use but it’s no different than Naruto learning the Rasengan/Toad Summons and learning Senjutsu.
On What Deidra did, He was losing, I count it both as a kill and a win for Sasuke however much his fans disagree because it was intentional and had the desired results. I don’t count Itachi as either though because he wanted to die and didn’t go all out where as Deidra wanted to destroy Sasuke and was battling at full power. Oro. was a victory but not a kill.

killerbee may act moronic, but he’s a badass character, he could have completly wiped out saskue’s entire team IF he wanted to….saskue almost got killed TWICE, the only reason he’s alive is because he LEECHES off of everyone, lets face it, saskue hardly wins ANY fights by HIS own power…..curse seal, karin, jugo, ITACHI….he’s a lecher…anyyways back to kisame and killerbee

HIS freaging chakra…..need i say more? he has massive amounts of chakra, im willing to bet with a boost form his bijuu he has more than 5 times the amount kisame has 4.) killerbee has obviously been proven to be immensly inteligent in battle, tacticaly, and physicaly, he doesnt waste time with meanigless chatter. he gets right to kickin ass, my type of guy.
now im not saying Killerbee is outclassing Kisame…NO far from it, but im saying this fight is going to be at Least a kage level, you understimate Killerbee’s potential, and Overestimate Kisame.
kisame is a brutal fighter, granted, but he relies mostly on his massive chakra, which at 30%, equals naruto’s normal chakra at fulll power during the time of the chunnin exams….which is no small task.

Well this was a great chapter to see more power of Madara’s powers which shows Sasuke the powers he should be able to attain when he develop his eye to Madara’s level. @mart1: I can’t remember the manga chapter, but the anime is recent and as far as i can remember , it is same as the manga. In Shippuden 114 Sasuke said Kabuto- “I have consumed him properly.” and in manga I think it was “I have taken over his body” or something similar. So Sasuke definitely was using Orochimaru’s body until the fight against Itachi was finished.

@Profess – That is why I was saying, if Deidara blew himself up it means he had no other options left, like Choji when he took the Pepper Pill, He was supposed to die, both the Third and Fourth Hokage killed themselves… So what you are saying, 4th Hokage lost to the 9 Tailed Beast, Choji lost to (cannot remember the name)…. People forget how similar both Sasuke and Naruto are except now all Sasuke has is Itachi to leach off, even though it was given to him freely like Mandra,who took/was given, his brothers eyes/and maybe a fair trade since in the battle he lost his Curse Seal and Healing of Oro… We still don’t know what Itachi gave Naruto but I am sure when we find out he wont be considered a leech, but a hero.
@Smartass – Don’t Forget Kisame’s sword eats Chakra, I cannot wait to see the 8 tails and him in a sword fight though but with every swing near the 8 tails will absorb more and more Chakra, so in my opinion KillB gonna be arrogant and want to fight in a sword fight all the time Kisame eating more and more of his Chakra. We haven’t seen Kisame fight properly yet, best we have seen is 30% more then enough to take out the Team Gai, without Gai opening the gates… I still think its gonna be a brilliant fight though! but since Akatsuki need all the tailed beasts KillerB will probably be beaten eventually and I don’t think the Organization can handle any more loses…its only Zetsu, Tobi and Kisame, I see Kisame beating KillerB
@pein0avenue: Naruto didn’t absorb Jiraiya’s body to summon the Toads. Jiraiya was the contract holder and Naruto had to prove himself worthy enough to summon the toads. It’s nothing like Sasuke summoning Manda.
and, cursed seal isn’t free chakra. It forces out the chakra from holders body and give him ability, strength and speed that was impossible for the holder to posses.
and , for the Kyubi, first you have to realize that Naruto doesn’t want to use Kyubi’s chakra and he never relied on Kyubi’s chakra, specially in post-time skip chapters.
but i say that Naruto should use the Kyubi’s chakra and master it. because he had given a heavy price (his parents, and his childhood) for having Kyubi sealed inside him, you can say that Naruto bought Kyubi’s power by those expenses. So he should use it.

ps thats just a joke… but seriously i think he needs to sit himself down and figure out what he really wants to do with his life… and as far as i remember he didnt actually kill itatchi but itatchi had died of a desease and it was his last day to live while he was fighting sasuke and either way would have died and he planned everything. what i did like was the “sharingan” battle the 2 had… one that note it seems as tho people that only have one sharingan like kakashi can unlock other abilites that the sharingan has just a theory…. on kasime and killbee: i always thought kasime was a host as well… it will be and awesome battle either way and we (like others have said) dont know his full abilities… i think the beasts could be passified like killbee has passified his beast. perhaps if the host mentally defeats the beast. i think danzo definitly has a connection to tobi,but i dont think they’re brothers, why would he want his own clan distroyed if he and midara faught to keep it together after joining with the 1st’s clan and forming konoha? in all the naruto story has taken a huge turn and i cant wait to see what happens next… and i cant wait for the anime to catch up…
gaara’s auto defense sand abilities and spherical shield were not his own abilities but the spirit of his mother protecting him even after death. he might have learned to utilize that better. i think sasuke has an elemental advantage unless gaara has wind element, like some have speculated above that sand might be made up of earth/wind. honestly i agree with some sasuke is pretty useless in combat he thought he was the omega student until he got to the chunin exams, he seems to be seeking for aproval and power and i think he’s more conflicted internally than naruto. that why he ow carries a sword so he can cut himself when he fails

Okay, good to have you back Bob-sama. I haven’t read everyone’s post yet, so I’ll comment and then read what’s been said, so sorry if this is repetition. I totally, agree with those who believe that this summary ws rather short. I mean for one thing, Sasuke mentioning Ameratasu and Madara’s ability OMG those are definite things worth commenting on. I mean we know what naruto can do and he is pretty much a close combat individual, so its going to be quite interesting to see how he’ll eventually take on Madara. My guess is that meeting Killerbee is going to be integral to this, sothat he can fully harness the strength of the kyuubi. Thing is from what we know of the 1st hokage, it is possible to defeat (maybe not kill, but definitely defeat) Madara albeit that MANY years have passed since that battle so he must have one or two new tricks.
The other thing is the Kage meeting… As Mizukage he will definitely have to be there which means a couple of things:
1. He will side with Danzo (who is power hungry and would probably agree to an alliance to reaffirm Konoha’s strength by defeating the other 4 kages with Sasuke).
2. He will fight sasuke (problem being that he will have to reveal the sharingan so Sasuke will kinda know its him.
3. He will not pitch up – which will make people suspicious. Okay let me read up now!

Sasuke was able to summon the snakes before he absorbed Oro so maybe just maybe he also got his name on the Snake Contract, but he was able to utilize Manda, where Oro was never able to fully control Manda Sasuke could with his Genjutsu.
Curse Seal kinda like the Chakra coat of the 1-3 Tails, giving Naruto speed, Strength etc. Above his usual capabilities, and still why doesn’t Oro and Kabuto have it.

Well Sasuke also lost his Parents and even Naruto said he could not understand Sasuke’s Pain until after he beat Naguto… Sasuke left the Village, was gonna be a host for Oro to get it… I know he stops Oro but lets say Oro was able to exchange when he first left. I say Sasuke risked a lot for his power. Sasuke was also given Itachi’s powers and lost his brother (who he later found out) that Loved him. Minito gave Naruto his Fox Chakra, and Naruto also lost love, till he was about 13 then he had a friend
Sasuke inherited the Sharingan can’t blame Neji for his Byakugan, Pein for Rinnegan and Kidomaru for his bone stuff… It is inherited like, Naruto also kinda being like Minito and his mom. You cannot compare Sharingan (plain) to the power of the Kuuybi. MS at Itachi/Mandra’s level I think maybe can be compared.
@pein0avenue: can you please name the chapter where it was shown that Sasuke can summon Manda? because so far I can remember, there is no such chapter.
and for the loses, you said Naruto had to wait till he was 13 to have a friend, it’s enough to say that had bad was Naruto’s childhood, it can only be compared with Gaara.
and for Sasuke, his family was killed which is very bad, but he had a lot of chances to overcome the pain, still he was interested in short cuts for gaining power. and the result was that a dying Itachi was stronger than Sasuke at full power.
@darkprince0521 – It was never shown, that he didn’t receive the Snake Summoning Contract, we missed most of his training, unfortunately. There was no chapter showing how Sasuke developed Chidori Current or Kirin, you cannot take the one without the other… Naruto had a bad childhood, and I am glad he is getting better and better, my problem lies in the fact that people see Naruto’s Development as a hard work and all his own power when in fact neither one relies on their own power 100%, not even Kakashi since his eyes where given to him by Obito.
Sasuke, was starting to forget about the revenge and living his life as you could remember after the land of waves arc, his revenge only really became an issue again after the Curse Seal which served as a driving force behind him wanting to leave plus Naruto growing so fast and him not understanding why at that time.
But I respect your views I might not agree with them fully but lets wait and see how Naruto is going to Beat Sasuke anyway since in all stories the Hero usually wins or its not finished yet…

On Naruto’s Barrowed power, the one tailed Kyubbi is not that different than the CS, Kishi even compared the two powers in the valley of the end battle, however, I think what Itachi gave Naruto is far less powerfull than the MS abilities he gave Sasuke, I think they will cancel out the MS but thats ALL that they will will do and afterwards be useless.

As far as Chakra levels, I think they are about the same if you consider that he was about even with Gai’s 3rd or fourth gate release (he got defeated at 5th but barely) at 1/3 power. You can’t use three time one-tailed Naruto (Aka a three tails’s power) (That Neji saw in the chunin Exams) as an example because Neji said he had MORE power than one-tailed Naruto when they fought and we don’t know how much more, it could be a little or it could be several tails worth, then times that by 3 and it’s signifigant enough to make a difference. I don’t think it’s cut and dried either way, KillerBee has the elemental advantage but Kisame has fate on his side (KillerBee has to get sealed sometime for the story to progress)

As far as Sasuke absorbing Oro., Oro.’s old body was dying (because it rejected Oro.’s soul in it) Oro. was LEAVING that body to enter Sasuke’s HEALTHY one. Sasuke absorbed SOME of Oro.’s PERSONALITY, yes, as was shown when he used Oro.’s rebirth techniques and explained by the other people in Oro.’s body swap genjutsu, but not his BODY, this means he had to sign the contract with his OWN blood beforehand and learned the summon independant of absorbing Oro.

what im saying is sauske hasnt really killed anyone they killed themselves and to me thats not a win in the ninja world you have to get your hands dirty, so i wouldnt consider a win on his part he use manda as a sheild from the attack, on the other hand naruto really only defeated kakuzu even though he was immobilized kakashi landed the fatal blow, in coclusion sauske has gotten lucky or his teamates has healed his wounds in battle so he wouldnt die he has no wins or a killcount
yea id have to say sasuke has not been shown to be comparable to naruto. Against oro, he decided to attack him when he was in bed deathly ill. with diedra he managed to survive by goin into mandas stomach. against itachi sasuke was fortunate that itachi was dying and even then he only won cause itachi 1) didnt want to kill him in the first place and 2) he was dying from the disease. I would say that with the disease itachi was at about 60-70% and even than he had sasuke beat. against killerbe he was badly beaten and only saved thanks to the girl (forgot her name) and the the cursed seal guy (forgot his name too
) and to top it all off even his amatersu flame couldnt take down killerbee thanks to killer bee bein a good tactician. so all in all sasuke has 2 kill ( have to consider diedra i guess and oro was pretty ill though). but as u can see its not clear like naruto; naruto not only killed kakuza three times (three hearts downed in 1 attack) he also killed the seven paths of pain and the deva path by himself. Even tobi was surprised that pein was defeated.

by the way, Sasuke surely had Orochimaru in his body. Orochimaru even come out of his body when Itachi used Susano, so you are wrong about Sasuke not absorbing Orochimaru’s body.

Oro was Sick… Was it Oro or his body he needs to change every 3 years… If it was Oro, then the White snake would of been Just as ill (This is just a thought no real proof to prove wrong or right), it almost looks to me like Sasuke cannot just kill anyone for no reason… Oro wanted his body and Itachi was his goal, but besides that he maybe killed that one Curse Mark experiment outside left the rest alive… Couldn’t kill Naruto etc.
Naruto never killed anyone or got his hands dirty, Naruto knew the Paths of Pein where already dead (i think), the Zombie guy, was finished off by Kakashi, Naguto self killed… Naruto I am sure has been helped by his team mates at times… When he killed Zombie dude, his first attempt failed and he was rescued by Kakashi and Yamuto (higher ranking Ninja then Jugo and Karin)

Oro. Absorbed Sasuke, not Sasuke absorbing Oro. essentially Oro. became a split personality within Sasuke’s body and Sasuke remained dominant until he was tired (just like people with multiple personalities) Oro. wasn’t controling Sasuke (until he fully emerged against Itachi) but he did influence him slightly, however, their chakra was their own, Oro. didn’t (directly, see below) provide the chakra when Sasuke used the Snake Summons or the replacement jutsu, because otherwise Oro. would have emerged from Sasuke against Itachi just as exhausted as Sasuke was.
However Oro. WAS helping him in the same way the Kyubbi helps Naruto even when he isn’t using the Kyubbi chakra, they share a body and so their chakra mingles on some level, however I don’t really see this as “Not his own power” because it is indirect. (He provided a small amount of chakra but don’t confuse this with what I said above about the replacement and summoning jutsu, Oro. might have contributed a small part of the chakra needed for the jutsu because of the body sharing but he didn’t intentionally use his chakra or use his to replace Sasuke’s chakra)
“you have to gain the trust of nature” I think you mean you have to gain the trust of the frogs and learn to control nature chakra, which is no different than gaining the trust of Oro. and learning to control the evil chakra.
@mart1- you left out the other parts of my explanation concerning Samehada, and ACTUALLY kisame DID hit naruto with his sword to absorb the chakra, if you go back and look, you can see this Clearly…so that is incorrect, as far as the chakra levels your saying that the 8 tails demon is equaly powerful compared to a human?? i REALLY doubt that a creature made from HUGE levels of pure chakra equals kisame….espcialy one as powerful as the 8 tails
at the chunnin exams, naruto didnt SHOW any Kyuubi “TAILS”, their was only twisting chakra, not tails,
and CERTAINLY not several tails worth, the 1 powered tail was MUCH more signifacant than the power nejii saw during the chunnin exams, so on that paticular point your wrong, and nejii NEVER said that this power was more than the three tails, thats a HUGE overstatment
another thing, we dont KNOW HOW the story is going to progress, so you cant predict that kisame has fate on his side
because only kishi knows this, so killerbee may very well have elemental, and fate (lets just call it kishi lol) on his side
regarding the fight between kisame and killerbee…its very obvious, killerbee will win…just a simple logic…itachi is powerful than kisame, as manga trying to show, itachi has the hard time defeating sasuke, and sasuke was beaten twice by killerbee…therefore kisame has a lesser chance to beat killerbee in terms of power comparison
killerbee has superior wit, which shows he can analyze the power, the strength and weakness of his opponent at a shorter period of time. We know samaheda is a strong weapon, but im sure killerbee can see through its weakness, just like what guy did…
and lightning passes through water…which will make kisame weak over killerbee.

@rj: at first, (i think) it was never shown or even mentioned that Itachi is stronger than Kisme. So you can’t take that as a base.
secondly, Itachi had a hard time against Sasuke because he was dying and he wanted to force Orochimaru out of his body. Should Itachi didn’t held back during the fight, Sauske was as good as dead.
but i agree with you that KillerBee is strong and he has a good chance to defeat Kisame. too bad that I like them both.

As far as Samehada hitting Naruto, (in the manga) look, he 1. has no cuts (from the shark skin shreading him), 2. is standing in the same position. the sword interacts with the chakra around him and eats that, but it doesn’t touch his skin. in the anime it shows this VERY clearly, I’ll find both the ep. and the pic.s later when I get back from class.
As far as Kisame having Fate: the sealing goes 8-tails then nine-tails, unless Madara abandonds the statue (which he so far hasn’t decided to do) then he has to seal the 8-tails before he seals Naruto. It is logical then, that KillerBee will be sealed by Kisame (who had no problem sealing a 5-tails) because Kishi isn’t going to drag out KB’s character just to have Madara seal him in seconds, it’s not IMPOSSIBLE for KB to beat Kisame, but it is UNLIKELY because of the direction the story is going.
(I’m out of time, I’ll explain why I think Kisame’s chakra is so big after class, short answer to do I think his chakra = 8-tails, YES)
@Mart, This whole Water-weak-against-Lightning thing came about when Hawk battled Kirabi (Killerbee). Actually, when Suigetsu protected Sasuke http://www.onemanga.com/Naruto/412/002/, he said he’s weak against Kirabi’s lightning based attacks. That’s to be expected because Suigetsu’s body is made of water. Theres a difference between Water and Water-element chakra. Water is the physical substance, while water chakra allows the manipulation or creation of the physical substance. So water chakra is not weak against lightning, its the physical substance that makes up Suigetsu that is weak against lightning. Hope that made things clearer
well, i cannot disagree with kisuzachi, because in Naruto, water is weak against earth element. but it’s not sure that it is weak against lightning as well. but I think it’s logical to say that lightning can beat water (but again this is what i think and it’s an assumption only).
well I think you would assume that Lighting is weaker then Earth, since Earth doesn’t absorb lighting
I know that Kisu. HOWEVER, Shikamaru showed how water can be used to short out lightning attacks in his battle with Kakuzu (I think it was an animation add in but it would still work. The elemental advantages are as follows Wind->lightning->Earth->Water->Fire->Wind: Elements that aren’t directly connected ex. Fire and Earth can either strengthen (third Hokage’s combo dragon) or Weaken (Dirt smothers fire) Suigetsu is hurt by lightning because he is MADE of water BUT the elements themselves all depend on how you use them, if Kisame surrounded KB with water he would be unable to use ANY lightning jutsu, Kakashi was in the same situation at the beginning of the series (trapped in a water prison) and he couldn’t use any Lightning Jutsu without hurting himself.

I think the anime says something slightly different (I never read this issue, I was watching the Anime [episode 12-13 for those interested] ) It says “What an owerwelming chakra” “I’ve (neji) never seen someone with this much power since Naruto” this is inconclusive because he could have more (or less, though unlikely) chakra than Naruto, this is what I was explaining above, Neji’s statement is NOT what we should judge his chakra level on, but rather his fight with Guy.
On “as far as the chakra levels your saying that the 8 tails demon is equaly powerful compared to a human” Kisame isn’t your “Normal human, even by Ninja standards, he is different, his appearance reminds me of two things, Senjutsu and Oro.’s white snake form, in that they both became animal like (toad and snake respectively) and granted the user extra chakra and special abilities. I think his appearance is more than just a fashion statement and it is probably why his chakra levels are so high.
On “naruto didnt SHOW any Kyuubi “TAILS”” considering the cloak appeared slightly and the next fight it jumps to two tails, I think this is one tailed state, I could have misinterpreted, but it isn’t really relavent because as I explained above, neji’s statement is pretty useless, and I did NOT say that Neji said that Kisame had three-tails worth, I said that if you considered three times what neji saw in Kisame as equal to three times what he saw in Naruto (three tails) to be about Kisame’s chakra it would be an underestimate for two reasons, 1. it doesn’t say Kisame’s overwhelming chakra = Naruto’s overwhelming chakra, just that both were overwhelming and 2. (didn’t say this earlier) I think chakra has a synergistic effect, (in both Naruto’s and Kisame’s case) in that the four tails is much stronger than four one tailed Narutos.

sasuke is being led farther and farther away from his chance at being accepted back. attacking cloud village already did considerable damage to his chances since konoha forgiving him wouldn’t make him any better in the eyes of the cloud village. they’d still want his head. and now the idiot’s going to attack every other major village. u’d think he was invincible by the way he said “we’ll go there and kill the kages”. and madara seems to be having an easy time making sasuke dance to his tunes. and he’s got more planned. poor sasuke…. i agree, bob. sasuke is becoming less and less fun with each chapter. where has his genius gone? i only wish he’s playing madara instead
i agree berserkerx. never liked sasuke anyway. change of subject, i was kinda hoping that naruto would learn like elemental jutsu’s for wind, or even an additional element besides wind, maybe like water or something. here’s hopin.
When Sasuke fought the 8 Tails, he said “We using Akatsuki and not the other way around”. Don’t you think its weird Sasuke didn’t stay behind to receive one of the Tailed Beasts like Mandra promised… As far as attacking the Cloud, if KillerB is alive there will be no problem with Sasuke. So far the only people Sasuke has been responsible for Killing is Oro, Deidara. I get the feeling Sasuke’s main aim is the elders of Konoha and if he tells the people of the genocide they had Made plus all Naruto knows about Pein and Danzo could work out for Sasuke, but then again if Sasuke’s intentions where good why not get Itachi’s eyes. I think with eternal MS and that statue of (cannot remember) he will be powerful

naruto’s “tailed” state never showed until he Fought saskue at the valley of the end…the twisting chakra you saw, was just what you said, a “cloak” of chakra….if it was naruto’s one tailed state he would have been beserking on Neji
on Kisames abilities…mabye your right about his enhanced abilities…but i doubt that his power would be able to stay active at all times, it wouldnt make sense why. im not saying that kisame DOESNT have abnormal amounts of chakra, but it DEFINITELY does NOT equal the strength shown by the 8 tailed beast
even naruto in sage mode would not have the power of a 8 tails. your forgetting what these creatures are, they are PURE beasts of chakra…..raving monsters of enourmous amounts of powers that have been traped inside human bodies, no ninja standards, not even S rank can compete with them
well, its true that itachi is dying during his fight with sasuke, but then it is still true that he has a hard time dealing sasuke…for the fact that he can counters Itachi’s genjutsu and escaped amaterasu…
yes it is not shown in the manga that really itachi was stronger, but it is shown kisame takes command from itachi, a logical evidence that kisame knows very well the strength and power of itachi…Looking at the attitude of kisame, he seems to be possessive in the fight…but then he accept the leadership of itachi over him…
lastly, its true that there is no basis that water based chakra is weak on lightning based chakra…but naturally water supports or strengthen lightning effects…we all know that lightning chakra can be molded to become lightning, electricity or some sort related to it, and water based to water or some sort related to it….a ninja with elemental chakra innates on them are shown to be versatile and seems immune to the effect of their molded chakra…one very good evidence was when yamato being pressed by rocks…since his techniques was similar to it, he just ended like shadow going out to it (from sora filler arc)
